Terms of use

By using spinwatchhouse.com you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last reviewed 20 August 2026.

1. Who we are and what this site is

Spin Watch House is an independent, affiliate-funded publication that compares online casino operators licensed to serve players in Great Britain. It is published at spinwatchhouse.com and can be contacted at desk@spinwatchhouse.com.

2. We are not a gambling operator

This website does not provide facilities for gambling. We do not hold a gambling licence, we do not accept bets or wagers, we do not hold customer funds, and we do not process deposits or withdrawals. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer by us to provide gambling. If you register with an operator we link to, your contract is with that licensed operator alone.

We are not a regulator, an ombudsman, a dispute resolution provider or a government body, and we have no connection to the Gambling Commission or to any public authority.

3. You must be 18 or over

This site concerns gambling and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18 you must not use it. Gambling by anyone under 18 is unlawful in Great Britain.

4. Information, not advice

Everything here is published for general information. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation that you gamble or that you use any particular operator. Gambling involves the risk of losing money and no content on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.

5. Accuracy, and its limits

Operator licensing data is taken from the Gambling Commission’s public register and is accurate to the check date stated on the relevant page. Licensing records change: permissions are varied, domains are added and removed, and licences can be surrendered, suspended or revoked at any time and without notice to us.

We therefore make no warranty that the information here is complete or current at the moment you read it, and we ask you to treat the register link on each operator entry as the authoritative position. Where information relates to rules or legislation, it reflects our understanding at the review date and may be superseded.

Match scores and all assessment text are our editorial opinion. They are not regulatory approvals, they are not endorsements, and they do not predict any outcome.

6. Commercial links

Links to operators are affiliate links and we may be paid a commission if you register an account through one. This is set out in full in our affiliate disclosure. It does not affect the price or terms you receive, and it does not alter the register-sourced facts we publish.

7. Third-party websites

We link to operator sites, to the Gambling Commission and to support organisations. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific point being made. Support organisations we link to are independent of us and do not endorse this website.

8. Using the site properly

You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish substantial portions of the content commercially, scrape or systematically extract it, present it as your own, or use it in a way that misrepresents an operator’s regulatory position. Text, design, the Spin Watch House name and the site’s symbol belong to the publisher; operator names and logos belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification in an editorial context.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. Access may be suspended, withdrawn or restricted at any time, including for maintenance, and pages may be changed or removed without notice.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on information published here, from your use of any third-party site reached from here, or from any dealings with a gambling operator, including gambling losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the review date above will change when it does.

12. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the part of the UK in which you live.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms go to desk@spinwatchhouse.com.

Safety & support

Gambling is 18 and over, and it will cost most people money

Casino games are built to return less than they take over time. That is the business model, not a flaw in it, and no strategy, system or run of luck changes the underlying maths. Gambling is entertainment you pay for. It is not income, it is not an investment, and it is not a way out of financial trouble.

  • You must be 18 or over to gamble in Great Britain. Operators must verify your name, address and date of birth before you can deposit or play.
  • Every GB-licensed operator must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. Setting them takes a minute and they work.
  • GAMSTOP blocks you from every online operator licensed here with a single registration, not one site at a time.
  • If gambling has stopped being enjoyable, free and confidential help is available today — you do not need to be in crisis to use it.
